I think this is one of the biggest growing areas of photography - figuring out what the hell to do with all the video you are now taking! If you’re me, then you’re using starting to grab more and more video. If you appreciate the idea of adding filters and looks to photos, then it should be an easy transition to doing the same thing for video as well. I plan on doing this again using the more robust Magic Bullet Looks product. I made this in Japan… it is simply an interesting collection of scenes from here and there.īelow is the video after I have applied Quick Looks. This shows a great example of the product… check out this video I did below… enjoy! After Magic Bulletīefore I get too much into the review, let me just simply show you the kind of nice lighting effects and “feel” that it gave to this video I made below.

We will then set up our desired colour grading in the Looks Builder and, once we’re happy with the final look, cut and paste the effect back onto the adjustment layer. I hope the guys over at Red Giant do add that functionality at some point because it would make life a lot easier.įor now we can get around this problem by going back to our timeline and applying the Magic Bullet Looks effect to one of our base footage clips instead. This is happening because we have applied Magic Bullet Looks to an adjustment layer and the plugin only displays the contents of the current layer – which, for an adjustment layer itself, is nothing. Note that our preview window (1) is currently empty. Under this tab you will find a large library of preset looks that you can quickly apply and tweak. Hidden beneath this tab you will find all of the effects that are available to you to modify your footage. These help you make accurate adjustments. A variety of tools for visualising the colour information in your footage. Any effects applied to your clip will be listed here.

Your final video with any colour adjustment effects will be displayed here.
